Staged imagery, fact or fiction?

Talking about shoot 12:

In the development for this shoot, I used the tint tool in order to further experiment with my compositions. I used the performance hall in order to show the use of staged imagery more in focus. For instance, with the lighting used, it shows more of a darkness around the subject and the mysterious feeling they are in. I also used the black and white tool with a variety of other techniques i.e. the vignette to create a bigger focus to the images.

I purposely put in the noise for a couple of my photos to create this affect stronger and to make it more gritty. Furthermore, when looking at the narrative for this shoot and how it connects to my other shoots, it shows the development of scapegoating at to more of fear. Introduces more of a conceptual feel to my photos overall with a more artistic approach in general. Exploring this, I will continue to develop my shoots to generate a bigger theme in general and with a more artistic/ conceptual approach to my images overall. Thinking how this could affect my pictures in general and to use different approaches to lighting more effectively.
