About me.

I am a good communicator, I’m currently a studying at Farnham Sixth Form, I was given the award for achievement and endeavour, due to my involvement within the college life. I am reliable enthusiastic and hardworking. I like to learn new things and enjoy a challenge. I like to work within a team, or can work on my own if needed.

Employment

June 2017- Present Disability Challengers Farnham, Surrey:

Play worker:

1 to 1 play-work with children- the use of creative play using behaviour management, or questioning and understanding what the child likes to do.
Health and safety awareness when working with the children or when helping other staff ensuring risk were mitigated where possible.
Talking to parents- outlining how the child’s day went, discussed, learning points and shared any successes.
Teamwork- communicating what needs to be done, work together to ensure all tasks is completed in full and on time. Be flexible within the team if things change and the plan needs to be adjusted.

Gift advisor:

Handling cash / till trained
Advising customers about what gifts to buy etc.

Serving customers- giving the products to the customers, collecting the products from the warehouse
Stock management- given commands of where to put the products from a delivering on a headset and know where to put them also trained with manual handling
Serving on ‘fast track’ orders- going back to stock management putting products in that certain area to be collected easily and efficiently to customers whom are waiting,

Dealing with customer complaints and issues- when customers had a complaint about their product trained to report it to the manager to handle or to deal with myself

Sorting out books that had been donated- putting them on specific shelves in correspondence to the author of the book; sorting out old to new, merchandising them on shelves in the store
